Part 2 late night thoughts

Hello,

I hope all is good, I got up this morning did my normal routine and was out the door headed to the daycare to see what I can come up with. I first pull out several toys wrote down each toy and what can be learned from the toy.

Blocks-colors,shapes,balance

Lego's- counting, connecting how to add and subtract. I learned that Play is the work of childhood.

Children are giving opportunities to learn and develop through exploring and play. Material and equipment spark children interest and, encourage them to experiment and learn.

Children develop skills, learn to take risk, develop scientific exploration, learn construct words ,attunement to their bodies, artists expression and pretend play.

I can say that having this late night though help me become more educated on how to educate my children. As educators searching for ways to teach our little one's we have to be looking for the calling to educate ourselves .
